New Year's Resolution -- Be More Involved

Is one of your New Year's Resolutions to be involved at school? Check out these volunteer opportunities:

2nd Grade Reading Volunteer

Mrs. Daniels is in need for a volunteer to read with 2 of her 2nd grade students who need a little extra help. You DO NOT have to have a 2nd grader or a student who sees Mrs. Daniels to help! She needs someone Mon-Fri from 9-9:50. Anyone can help out!

4th Grade Reading Volunteer

Mrs. Paige is looking for volunteers to come in from 10:45-11:15 to listen to her kids read, day of the week does not matter. You DO NOT have to have a student in Mrs. Paige's class or even in 4th grade. Anyone can help out!

General School Volunteer

Teachers will have a basket in the Main Office Mailroom where they will place any thing that they need help with i.e. copies, cut outs, sorting, etc. They will attach specific instructions for the work and the date it needs to be completed by. Volunteers will go in and complete the work in order of date needed then place it back into that particular teacher's mailbox. Volunteers can work as long as they would like at their visits and can go in anytime between 8-4 Mon-Fri.

Lunch Room Volunteer

Come spend lunch at Plain City Elementary! Spend time with your child and his or her friends while helping to open packaging, assisting with microwaves, and wiping down tables. 10:50-12:30. Sign up for one day or more than one.
