PCES Parent Volunteer Cafeteria Information & Reminders
Thank you so much for supporting PCES staff and students! We appreciate YOU!!!
- Please remind students that we should not share food for safety reasons.
- Students are to stay in their seats the whole lunch period and wait to throw any trash items away, put lunch boxes in baskets, etc. until they are dismissed for recess by a teacher.
- Remind students to have safe, walking feet in the cafeteria (they get excited to both get in the lunch line and when headed out to recess.)
- Students will raise their hands if they need assistance opening food items, getting something they forgot, or if they need to go to the restroom.
- Feel free to help go over the tables with the mops once a class has been dismissed for recess.
- Feel free to grab and dispose of any problematic paper or food items that end up on the floor (you will be surprised at what you find)
- There is a dismissal schedule and lunch table assignment sheet on the desk by the cafeteria doors if needed.
During the winter, please help K-2 with coats/zippers/gloves!
